Client Requirements:
Develop a process for incorporating ultra-light gel cushioning material into a
new ankle stirrup brace that would offer improved performance. This
cushioning material is half the weight of most cushioning materials and
minimizes pressure on bony prominences.
Solutions:
- Optimized product performance by incorporating a patented check valve with a unique bladder configuration which allowed for even distribution of the ultra-light material.
- Developed and built processing equipment that allowed for the filling of the ultra-light gel cushioning material without the introduction of unwanted air.
